Abstract:
Let E/Q be an elliptic curve and p a prime number. Under various hypotheses, Bertolini--Darmon--Prasanna (BDP) established a formula relating the p-adic logarithm of Heegner points on E to values of an anticyclotomic p-adic L-function outside the range of interpolation. This formula is an important ingredient in anticyclotomic Iwasawa main conjectures for E. In this talk, I'll discuss a higher-dimensional generalisation of this formula replacing Heegner points with special cycles on unitary Shimura varieties.
