Amy Arundale, Guest Lecturer
Amelia (Amy) Arundale, PT, PhD, DPT, SCS is a physical therapist and researcher. Amy has worked at the Brooklyn Nets, Red Bull’s Athlete Performance Center. and is currently a physical therapist and Director of Movement Science and Innovation at the Washington Wizards. In addition, Amy is also an Adjunct Professor at The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Health System.
Amy is frequently asked to speak internationally on topics related to prevention, return to sport and performance, ACL rehabilitation, on-field/court rehabilitation particularly related to motor learning, and tailoring rehabilitation to the demands of an athlete.
Dr. Vishnu, Alumnus
Dr. Vishnu is an esteemed sports medicine specialist with a wealth of experience in supporting high-level rugby and multi-sport events across Asia and the Middle East. He has played a pivotal role as the team physician for the Dubai Exiles Rugby Club and the UAE Rugby first team, as well as for the UAE National Olympic Committee. His expertise has been instrumental in facilitating the medical needs of numerous prestigious tournaments, including the Arab Games, Asian Games, Rugby World Cup Qualifiers, and the renowned World Rugby 7s event in Dubai. Moreover, Dr. Vishnu has provided comprehensive medical support for a Division-1 Football Club in the region, and he has recently taken on an expanded role with the UAE Football Association. This progression reflects his unwavering dedication to enhancing the field of sports medicine and his commitment to the well-being and performance of athletes in the region.
