Professor Bales can comment on anything related to modern or historical slavery or human trafficking or slavery in supply chains or slavery and climate change or conflict or forced marriage.
Professor Bales has extensive experience of working with the media and is happy to work with a variety of journalists - whether in television and radio, print or online.
He has won two Emmys, one Peabody, helped develop CNN Freedom Project. His first job with a pay cheque (age 14) was on radio, worked in radio for several years. Extensive experience as talking head.
