My research focuses on autism and the link to culture. Several factors that are linked to autism might be influenced by culture, such as Executive Functioning, Language (e.g., multilingualism), Imagination, and Music.

I currently study how culture might influence parental stress, parenting styles, and the quality of life of families with autistic children. I am eager to explore how these cultural factors might influence the interpretation and expression of, and attitude towards (e.g., stigma) autistic traits and autism.
I collaborate with several Autism Centers throughout Malaysia.
