From 31st July 2015, the current financial support PRIMIS receives to deliver the PINCER audit tool ceases. This popular audit tool has been made freely available to all PRIMIS Hub users since February 2013.
The PINCER audit tool has been widely adopted and PRIMIS recognises that to withdraw its availability would potentially impact on practices and localised medicines optimisation programmes alike. As such, PRIMIS will continue to make the PINCER audit tool available but needs to introduce an annual licence fee of £80 (+VAT) to basic Hub members to cover hosting and maintenance.
The PINCER audit tool will move to being purchasable from 1st August and will also include the addition of CHART Online functionality.
The PINCER audit tool will be available to purchase on The University of Nottingham online store from 1st August. Details will be given on the PINCER audit tool page and here on the News page as soon as they become available.
Please note: full membership prices will increase slightly to reflect the inclusion of the PINCER audit tool.
The current audit tool will not be available within the CHART updates library after 1st August. Practices that purchase the new version of the audit tool will find it enabled for download in the updates library.
