PRIMIS has just released a newly updated Flu Recall quality improvement tool for 2016/17.

Flu Recall enables GP practices to identify ‘at-risk’ patients more accurately and validate their flu recall register for use year-on-year.

The tool is designed to help GP practices organise their flu, zoster and pneumococcal campaigns efficiently, with minimum waste, expense or unnecessary effort.

The quality improvement tool has been updated for 2016/17 to include:

  • a Read code update, in line with the new uptake specification
  • improvements to the summary sheet to provide even clearer results

CCGs will find that the tool will provide accurate reporting of activity for the Influenza and Pneumococcal Immunisation Scheme (DES).

For full details on the tool please see the Flu Recall quality improvement tool page.
