Feeding the world is set to become more challenging in the face of a growing population. So what can be done to address the issues that can lead to food scarcity?

Unpredictable climate patterns can have a devastating impact on the productivity of crops. What can be done to mitigate these inevitable variations in our climate to maximise productivity?

This is just one of the topics our research teams are exploring. The other is how to extend the life of fruit and vegetable crops post-harvest, so to significantly reduce food waste.
