The Biomaterials Discovery Programme Grant held their second weekly seminar on Thursday 15th March and Dara O’Brien gave a fantastic talk.
Dara’s talk was entitled: “'Going Green in Science,” and as it was St Patrick's day on Saturday it was a very appropriate title! Dara wanted to highlight the necessity of industries and businesses being environmentally conscious, explain the idea of a circular economy and discuss how we can incorporate this, not only into our day to day personal lives, but how important these things are to consider in science too.

It was a great opportunity to hear about Dara’s interest in green chemistry more widely, and an excellent chance for the Programme Grant team to get together.
