Professor Morgan Alexander
Professor Morgan Alexander has again been named by Clarivate as one of the world's Highly Cited Researchers in 2025. This year, analysts from the Institute for Scientific Information (ISI) at Clarivate have awarded the Highly Cited Researcher designation to 6,868 researchers from across the globe who demonstrated significant influence in their chosen field(s) over the last decade. The list is truly global, spanning 60 countries or regions and spread across a diverse range of research fields in the sciences and social sciences using a published methodology. To be on the list, published research papers need to rank in the top 1% by citations for the field, and the individual must also be in the top 1% by total citations in that field.
Morgan qualified in the Pharmacology and Toxicology category, a list of only 110 researchers globally. This year, the UK placed 3rd globally behind the USA and China.
