This year will see the first podium oral presentations, with submissions open until the 18th October 2019. It is especially encouraged for early stage researchers to apply for these slots.

Above and Beyond

Description
The Biomaterials Discovery Programme Grant held their monthly Social on Friday 29 March where Andrea Alice Konta gave a talk as part of the series. Andrea's talk was entitled: "Above and Beyond" and centred around NASA's One-Year Mission, which was then the basis for a twin study.

University of Nottingham devleoped material in clinical trials

Description
A bacteria resistant polymer coating applied to catheters, developed in a collaboration between Camstent and the University of Nottingham, is producing positive results in its first in-man clinical trials.
