Mark Smith and Matt Rigg from BEIS give a lecture on issues in company law and business from legislator/policy-maker perspective
On 28 November 2019, Mark Smith and Matt Rigg from the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) gave a talk to UG (issues in company law) and LLM (international aspects of corporate law and insolvency law) students.
They discussed various issues in company law from a legislator and policy maker perspective as well as BEIS planning for a possible Brexit. They also shared insights with students on the work of business lawyers in government.
