Professor Paul Torremans delivered papers during the WIPO Workshop on Intellectual Property Law for Libraries at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in Alexandria, Egypt, from 10-12 September 2019. In a follow up Professor Torremans will be the lead in the revision of the IP policy of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
The ALAI annual congress took place in Prague on 19 and 20 September 2019. Professor Paul Torremans had the honour and the pleasure to deliver the concluding key note paper on 20 September in the presence of WIPO Deputy Director General for Copyright and Creative Industries, Sylvie Forbin.
