Nottingham academics make recommendations to protect the rights of copyright users online

On 12 November 2019, a group of European copyright scholars published a set of recommendations on how to ensure that users of copyright works can exercise their right on online-platforms.  Assistant Professor Bernd Justin Jütte, University of Nottingham, co-drafted the recommendations with academics from the Institute for Information Law at the University of Amsterdam, the Centre d’etudes Internationales de la Propriété.Intellectualle (CEIPI) at the University of Strasbourg, the University of Tilburg and the Center for Law and Internet at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Professor Estelle Derclaye and Professor Paul Torremans are amongst the more than 40 academics who signed the document.
