Prof. Dirk Van Zyl Smit gives two guest lectures at Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald, Germany

Professor Dirk Van Zyl Smit is presenting two guest lectures at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Universität Greifswald in Germany.

On Tuesday 8th July, Prof. Van Zyl Smit will give a lecture titled 'Prohibiting whole life imprisonment: The European Court of Human Rights and national sensibilities' and on Wednesday 9th July, he will give a talk on 'European promotion of community sanctions and the reduction of the use of imprisonment'.
