Professor van Zyl Smit to speak at a seminar on the International Transfer of Prisoners in Malaysia

The Malaysian Prison Department has invited Professor Dirk van Zyl Smit to speak at a seminar on the international transfer of prisoners. The seminar will be held at the Headquarters of the Malaysian Prisons Department in Kajang on the 18th and 19th of September and will disseminate information on Malaysia’s new international prison transfer legislation to relevant government agencies ahead of its formal implementation in October 2014.
