John Jackson lectures at the University of Göttingen

Professor John Jackson was a guest lecturer at the University of Göttingen on 23 January.

He delivered a lecture on the 'The Jury in Europe: Obsolete or the Future of the Criminal Justice System?' as one of a series of lectures that have been organised by Professor Kai Ambos at the University of Göttingen and the European Law Students Association on Anglo-American Criminal Law and Justice.

John also led a doctoral seminar on the role of security-cleared 'special advocates' who represent the interests of parties excluded from hearing sensitive information in secret trials.
