Diagnostics and Therapeutics

Cardiovascular disease

One of our key research themes here in the Diagnostics and Therapeutics Research Group is cardiovascular disease. Research led by our team of highly regarded scientists and clinicians focuses on heart disease, vascular disorders, developmental cardiovascular conditions and the healthy heart.

By studying animal models across a wide range of species, we are developing our understanding of how and why cardiovascular disease occurs in both humans and animals, as well as developing groundbreaking new improvements in diagnosis and prevention.
