Making mealworms more sustainable and nutritious for human food and feed

Our Nutritional scientists from the University of Nottingham have tested diets comprising protein and all other nutrients against those containing little and none, and found that whilst mealworms could survive eating no protein they do need a minimum amount of protein to grow and pupate.
