You are invited to take part in a workshop in the lab at MRL that explores the work we have been doing as part of the Invisible project - an artwork and research project using interactive mirrors to connect communities and spaces in the UK and Brazil. As we come to the end of the development phase of Invisible we would like to invite you to a workshop that explores the different prototype mirrors we have built so far. It will involve a mixture of some hands on playing with the mirrors, a presentation of what we have done so far and discussions about the future of the project. We will be looking at what might be interesting to the HCI community, some of the challenges of working with this technology in context of an artwork and with community groups in the UK and Brazil, and issues around making a cheap open source, accessible and easy to set up version of the technology that can be sent to and used in different community settings.
