Description

In this workshop, the Performing the Future project will be looking at how we can manage long term past, present and future environmental datasets and our individual and collective responses to the data, 'The Future Machine' and the mini prediction machines Rachel Jacobs has been developing with Dominic Price.

The workshop will look at how we might interact with slow data and environmental monitoring over decades as well as thinking about science fiction, our own visions of the future and environmental change. It will be an opportunity to be creative and make stuff as well as inform future artworks and public engagement activities.
