In this workshop, Esther Eidenow (Associate Professor in Ancient Greek History, University of Bristol) to introduce her research into Fate, Luck and Fortune and the Oracle, combined with some 'Performing the Future’ experiments to explore processes of mediating, representing and interpreting environmental and personal data in relation to thinking about the future.
The workshop will look at how we might interact with slow data and environmental monitoring over decades as well as thinking about science fiction, our own visions of the future and environmental change. It will be an opportunity to be creative and make stuff as well as inform future artworks and public engagement activities.
