Joseph, a Horizon CDT PhD student in the lab, will give the talk this week.
This short talk will outline the results of an ethnographic study into user experiences of digital advertising, whereby users spent 7 days collecting screenshots of any ads they considered noteworthy. I'll focus on discussing the implications these insights have for (re)designing digital advertising structures, and for improving practice within the current ecosystem.
