About the Centre
The Nottingham Interdisciplinary Centre for Economic and Political Research (NICEP) was established in 2015 through a collaborative effort between the School of Economics and the School of Politics and International Relations to promote interdisciplinary work at the cross roads between economics and politics.
By bringing together very distinct approaches to the study of political institutions and public decision making, the centre aims to promote interdisciplinary work in four main thematic areas:
- Political behaviour
- Political economy and public policy
- Quality of government
The centre is supported by the School of Economics, the School of Politics and International Relations, and the University of Nottingham through the Research Board Discipline Bridging Award.
NICEP is a member of the POLECONUK network.
