Discovery Days: Vikings
Discover the Viking Age!
Meet experts, handle artefacts and find out about the lives and impact of the Vikings. During a series of interactive sessions, University experts will answer children's questions and encourage them to think more creatively.
Introducing the concept of university and helping children to think about their futures, our outreach officers will run sessions in school, both before and after the Discovery Day.

Is it for you?
- Year group suitability: Years 4 - 6
- Taking place: Monday 13th November 2023
- Maximum capacity: 60 pupils
- Recommended ratio: at least 2 adults for up to 20 pupils. One extra adult for each additional 10 children
- School staff must be present to supervise children throughout the day
