Dr Peter Craigon is an experienced multidisciplinary researcher with a varied background, including, for example: Animal Behaviour, Science and Technology Studies, Human Computer Interaction, Research Ethics, Responsible Innovation and History, amongst others.

Most recently his work has focused on developing tools and approaches to help people engage with elements of responsibility in relation to research and innovation, particularly relating to Responsible Innovation, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI), ‘Ethics in Research’, IT ethics and ‘Digital Good’.

At the Centre for Food Policy and Foresight he is particularly interested in engaging further with the complexities of responsibility in real world policy contexts. This will continue and develop previous work relating to food, technology and sustainability and the intersection between these and considerations of desirability and acceptability of emerging and future technology.
