Global Partnerships
The Faculty of Social Sciences is driving to strengthen and develop our existing links and create a small number of key strategic partnerships globally.
We endeavour to collaborate on world-changing research, innovative teaching collaborations, international capacity building projects and exciting international projects and are very proud to work with some of the best universities in the world.

The University of Konstanz and The University of Tübingen
School of Politics and International Relations
The School of Politics and International Relations also offers a double degree programme in cooperation with the renowned Department of Politics and Public Administration at the University of Konstanz. Through the programme, up to five students of each university interested in an internationally-oriented course of studies have the possibility of spending a year in the UK and a year in Germany. At the end of the programme, students obtain two masters titles, one from each university.
Placement partnerships
We offer a range of placement and internship opportunities for our students, both paid and voluntary, at local, national and even international level. We are always looking to build partnerships with businesses for term-time and year-long placements, as well as summer internships. Our placement partnerships are long lasting and mutually beneficial.
