UoN Students / UoN Student Direct Relatives
A cancellation/pro-rota refund can be issued:
- Without a reason up to 14 days from the date of purchase.
- Withdrawing from your studies at the University of Nottingham (confirmation required to support your cancellation).
- Medical reason due to illness or injury (doctors/medical note required)
UoN staff members (monthly salary deduction)
The staff monthly deduction membership is valid from the date of purchase for 12 months. This is a flexible membership which can be cancelled at any time with one full calendar month's notice. Please note the notice period will depend on your joining date - your expiry date will be confirmed by the membership team.
Members (monthly direct debit)
Your membership is rolling agreement and shall continue until you wish to cancel. One full calendar month's notice is required to cancel - for example if wishing to cancel at the end of July, a cancellation request is required by 30 June.
Members (paid in full)
A cancellation/pro-rota refund can be issued:
- Without a reason up to 14 days from the date of purchase.
- Medical reason due to illness or injury (doctors/medical note required).
Membership freeze requests (monthly direct debit)
Members paying by direct debit have the opportunity to freeze their membership for up to three months within a 12-month period. A freeze request is required by the 24th of the previous month, so a freeze can be processed for the 1st the following month.
Due to salary payments, staff monthly deduction members do not have the option to freeze.
Membership freeze requests (paid in full)
Paid in full members can freeze their memberships for up to 3 months due to medical reasons - a medical/doctor's note shall be required which confirms the illness or injury. If you request a further freeze this will be considered on a case-by-case basis by University of Nottingham Sport management team.
