Martha Evans, a first year sports and exercise science student, has had a busy summer representing Great Britain at International Para Climbing Championships. On 16 July, Martha climbed her way to the podium at her first ever world championships after finishing 3rd.

Dr Deng Yaping inducted into the British University and College Sport Hall of Fame

University of Nottingham Alum, Dr Deng Yaping has been inducted into the BUCS Hall of Fame at the BUCS Awards ceremony in Bristol where she joins an esteemed list of sporting greats, including Dame Jessican Ennis-Hill and fellow alum, Liz Nicholl MBE.

UoN Sport are currently recruiting 6 Coaches for the 2019/20 season. The University of Nottingham Sport is investing significantly into its sporting infrastructure, with a £40m Sports Village and substantial investment in its coaching and development support for its 70+ sports clubs and 120+ active teams. Nottingham are currently placed 2nd in the BUCS league table and were recently awarded the Sunday Times Good University Guide Sports University of the Year.
