I'm not going to lie – Ancy bar isn’t the most glamorous of bars on campus…however, it does provide all one needs for getting wasted or for just chilling with mates. You are bound to find someone you know sipping a pint or two and you will soon get to know the bar staff quite well. At weekends the bar does tend to get crazier with Campus 14 crews (dressed in all sorts – from a Christmas pudding, to a sexy bunny rabbit!) staggering in and downing their double vodka lemon and limes ready to move onto the next bar along route. Drinks are pretty cheap, karaoke is on-hand whenever you feel like a sing-song, and pub-quizzes are held weekly. All we advise for a great year is to get stuck in!!!

This page aims to promote any events being held in the bar and give you the opportunity to meet the bar staff. Please let the Bar Supervisor know if you would like to work in the bar (current rate of pay £5.11). If you wish to take a drink out of the bar – just ask the bar guy for a disposable plastic cup!
