Ancaster Junior common room (JCR)

Here you get to meet the people who will be looking after your social lives, and making sure you are ok during your time in hall. Each year a new JCR committee is elected by its residents. Its primary role is to represent its members; i.e. the students. It also provides an extensive social calendar for the academic year. If you have any suggestions or need anything, please feel free to come and speak to one of us. We guarantee we will ensure your year in Ancy will be the best year ever as we have picked the best team ever!!!

Facilities provided by the JCR include:

• The Common Room – with massive widescreen TV and full sky subscription – excellent for all sporting events and soap fanatics!
• The running of the student-managed bar
• Provision of the pool table and game machines
• Participation in sports teams
• Provision of amazing parties and exciting events
