Current Research

My PhD research concentrates on entrepreneurship within the Hudson's Bay Company between 1668 and 1821. It is heavily interdisciplinary, utilising theory on entrepreneurship and networks to best understand how traders within the company were able to forge long-standing, profitable business relationships with the First Nations people and the particular, creative ways in which this business was conducted.
