I've studied for my MA in Diplomacy and PhD in History at the University of Nottingham.
My research focuses on the study of third-party conflict resolution on the international stage. During my doctoral research, I have analysed the mediator's characteristics and their influence on the effectiveness of the conflict resolution process. One cornerstone of my research is the work with the archival material related to the US foreign policy in the Middle East in the 1960's and 1970's. My thesis examined the US conflict resolution strategies in the Egyptian - Israeli peace process, 1967-1975.
I teach on the first-year module Roads to Modernity: an introduction to modern history, 1789-1945 and the second-year module The Contemporary World since 1945.
