Centre for Society, Nature and Organisations
The Centre for Society, Nature and Organisations (SNO) was launched in March 2025 to provide a safe and inclusive space for collaborative and inter-disciplinary research that focuses on the transformative role of organisations (be they private, public or community based) in promoting social and environmental justice.
SNO members conduct research on a multitude of grand and local challenges, such as climate change, biodiversity loss, human rights, inequality, poverty and vulnerability, and the role of organisations in tackling these in a world that is becoming ostensibly more complex, interrelated and unpredictable.
About us
We are proud to support sustainability transitions through impactful theories and practice-based solutions to existing social and environmental challenges.
