Debasmita is an Assistant Professor in Industrial Economics. Before joining NUBS she worked as a lecturer at Swansea University.

Debasmita is a theorist, whose main research interests lie in Industrial Economics and Environmental Economics. Her research interests lie primarily in the area of labour market adjustments. In particular, her works focus on innovation, imitation, labour union, merger, patenting etc. Debasmita welcomes PhD applications on topics related to her research interests.
