Scholarships

To allow talented applicants from every country and sector to apply for the Nottingham MBA, Nottingham University Business School will be offering a range of scholarships to candidates who demonstrate exceptional experience and leadership skills.

Our scholarship strategy is aimed to create a diverse and stimulating cohort with proven managerial experience. Our award winners will stand as ambassadors for Nottingham MBAs and will be supported to create powerful networks for the future.

Some scholarship awards will require additional evidence or interviews. Availability of scholarships is discretionary and subject to change. Typically our scholarship offers are available for a limited time only and early application is advised.

Developing future leaders and key sector scholarships

Developing Leaders for the Future The candidate is of proven calibre to attain an International leadership position in their chosen organisation in next 5-7 years and engages in significant global issues and solutions. Up to 90% of fees
Mentoring
Leadership in Military Service The candidate has significant service experience and actively seeking to achieve a new future outside of the Armed Forces. 15-30% of fees
Management in Local Government The candidate has significant experience of local (and/or national) government that would contribute to the potential for improved dialogue between business and government. 15-30% of fees
Management in the Third Sector The candidate has significant experience of charity, non-profit, or non-government organisations that would contribute to the potential for improved dialogue between business and third sector. 15-30% of fees
Management for Health Sector Reform The candidate has significant experience of public sector or healthcare organisations that would contribute to the improved capability in the sector. 15-30% of fees
Enabling the Nottinghamshire Growth Plan (NGP) The candidate has significant experience of sectors that are priorities under the NGP (e.g. Manufacturing, Engineering). By undertaking the MBA the candidate has potential to add capability to the region as a whole and stimulate economic growth. 15-30% of fees


These awards are  competitive and granted on the strength of additional forms of evidence such as: Letter of recommendation from a relevant senior referee, Additional interview of candidate by our scholarship committee, and a personal submission by the candidate.

Candidate is member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)  (or International Equivalent). 10% of fees

Candidate is member of Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transportation (CILT), Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Law Society, Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS), Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators (ICSA) (or International Equivalents). 10% of fees 


Recognising professional practice scholarships No additional application is required for this award but those wishing to be considered should document any professional associations in their application forms. Certification may be required as part of the application process to secure awards.

International Travel Bursary

Candidates receiving this award will demonstrate potential for building strong international connections, and who may benefit for greater cross-cultural exposure. Award winners may be eligible to join one of our International Study Tours or attend an MBA module at our Singapore or Malaysia MBA campus

Travel costs up to £1,500

Future Ambassadors Award

Candidates show potential for adding distinctive and diverse experience to the MBA cohort and to be considered future ambassadors for the Nottingham MBA.

Up to 10% Fees


No additional application is required for this award but those wishing to be considered should express interest in their application form and interview.

International student alumni automatically qualify for a 15% scholarship, while UK/EU alumni are offered a 5% scholarship.
