International Business Environment

Module Content:
This module introduces students to the international business environment. The module develops an understanding of the global environment: globalisation of business, internationalisation theories, innovation; international institutions governing IB (flows of trade, investment, financial and human capital), and differences between countries (political, economic and cultural).

Module Aims:
To examine national/regional/international political, economic, technological, cultural and institutional factors that make up the global business environment, and to understand the impact of the global business environment on business' international decisions.

Module Assessment:
2 Hour Examination (50%); Individual Coursework (2,500 words) (50%)
