Previous CSN opportunities
The CSN supported three students taking up placements with BACKLIT Gallery in Nottingham on the theme of diversifying representation in the creative and cultural industries. Students took part in workshops and knowledge exchange sessions and presented a gallery showcase of their work.
Peer workshops
Using university funding we help students create and run creative skills workshops for other students - a great opportunity to demonstrate training, initiative and leadership skills for potential employers. Workshops have included:
- Website building with Wordpress
- Audio transcription
