All undergraduate applicants who receive an offer are invited to a UCAS visit day, which is an opportunity for you to see the School of English and the University for yourself.
The visit days take place in February and March each year. This year's events were as follows:
On the visit day you, you will be welcomed by Professor Josephine Guy (Head of the School of English) and be given an introduction to our English degree courses by Dr Mike Jones (Director of Undergraduate Studies) along with a question and answer session.
During the day you will also have a chance to experience some of the teaching we do in the school. You will have the opportunity to meet our staff and students over lunch and find out all you need to know about the subject you want to study and to help you decide if The University of Nottingham is right for you.
There will also be an opportunity to hear about our Placement and Literacy Volunteering activities and a guided campus tour led by current students.
