SPLiT Day Scenarios

Darius is on SPL, his ShPP has expired and he is returning to work in four week's time. His manager contacts him to let him know there is a three day training session happening in two weeks' time and would he like to attend this.

Darius confirms he would and that he would like to take this time as SPLiT days, he also agrees with his manager he will attend one further day to attend a team meeting and spend some time with his Manager to plan for his return to work.

 

 

 

Martinez has curtailed her maternity leave and will have a further period of 10 weeks Shared Parental Leave. There are a number of important seminars happening regularly during her 10 week SPL, plus a conference that she would like to attend and several team briefings.

She agrees a SPLiT Day schedule with her manager:

  • 2 x SPLiT Days to attend conference
  • 6 x SPLiT Days to attend the seminars
  • 4 x SPLiT Days to attend team briefings

Total of 12 SPLiT Days.

All team briefing days are half day events and as such pay will be made for the hours worked, however each event will be classed as one SPLiT day being used.
