The Weston Gallery is part of the Lakeside Arts Centre, and was purpose built in 2001 for library and archives displays.
It provides the public showcase for the University’s prized and unique manuscript and rare book collections. It also hosts visiting exhibitions of national and regional historical interest.
It offers a wonderful opportunity to show material that would otherwise be seen only by dedicated students, historians and researchers.
At least three exhibitions are mounted each year. The items on display represent only a taster of the Section’s rich and varied holdings.
