Thank you for your interest in postgraduate taught courses at the School of Molecular Medical Sciences. The School offers seven MSc courses covering topics such as cancer, microbiology, immunology and molecular genetics. Full details can be found within this website, and course brochures are available to download for each course. In addition, modules from our courses can also be completed on an individual basis - costs for this are calculated on a pro rata basis depending on the credit rating of the module. 

Molecular Medical Sciences is a lively and diverse school, with departments including Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, Clinical Oncology, Haematology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, and Pathology. The School has around 40 members of academic staff and more than 60 research and support staff. This fosters an exciting and active environment for all of our postgraduates - we currently have approximately 80 MSc students and 60 research students. The School attracts funding from a variety of sources, including the Research Councils, European Union, Medical Charities and Industry. We value all of our postgraduate students, and there are many ways that you will be supported throughout your studies. For students coming from other countries to study with us, the University provides dedicated help via the International Office. Funding Options

The University is contracted through the East Midlands Healthcare Workforce Deanery for the delivery of Learning Beyond Registration education. This allows healthcare professionals accessing programmes through this route to have their tuition fees met in full. This provision is available to a wide range of health and social care professionals working in the East Midlands. Please see the Learning Beyond Registration page for more details.
