Aerospace Research Centre (ARC)
Based on University Park, the Aerospace Research Centre (ARC) is an 800m2 facility housing around 40 researchers undertaking basic research on delivery of technologies which radically improve the environmental impact of air transport.
The building was formally opened by Clive Snowdon on 14 December 2010.
The Aerospace Research Centre will be used to ensure the delivery of various research projects, including the €10m FP7 Clean Sky JTI programme. Read more about the More Electric Aircraft (pdf ) research conducted in the ARC.
