CHILL is Nottingham University Business School’s internationally renowned research centre dedicated to improving and innovating healthcare management and leadership. We help healthcare providers respond to and meet the challenges of changing policy, service reorganisation and care delivery.
We achieve this by:

The Centre for Health Innovation, Leadership and Learning (CHILL) are pleased to invite you to our March 2018 seminar.
A safe place to land - redefining the experience of safety through storytelling.
An interactive theatre workshop that uses theatre techniques and storytelling to explore the complexities of emotional safety in healthcare and how the experience of feeling safe/unsafe can be reshaped through compassionate narrative.
This seminar will be presented by Gemma Boyd who is HEE Transformation and Leadership Fellow for Nottinghamshire.

Executive MBA Healthcare endorsed by NHS Leadership Academy
The NHS Leadership Academy has appointed Nottingham University Business School (NUBS) to deliver an NHS endorsed Masters in Business Administration (MBA). The course is led by the University’s Centre for Health, Innovation, Leadership and Learning (CHILL) in the Business School.
Dr Simon Bishop, CHILL’s Deputy Director (Teaching) and leader of the course, said: “The Nottingham Executive MBA Healthcare is specifically designed for managers and leaders who want to develop their career in healthcare. Participants gain the benefits of studying for an internationally recognised MBA alongside peers from many different industries, while gaining up to date knowledge and skills relevant for the challenges of contemporary healthcare.
“Specialist healthcare modules are led by both academic and industry specialists, allowing individuals to develop within a friendly and supportive learning environment.”
NUBS, which is part of the University of Nottingham, is one of only seven higher education institutions (HEIs) in the country to have their MBA programme endorsed by the NHS.

CHILL becomes member of Center for Health Organisation Transformation at Texas A&M University
CHILL has been approved by the United States National Science Foundation as a full participating member of the Center for Health Organization Transformation (CHOT), based at Texas A&M University.
CHILL is only the 6th non-US site to be approved for membership of any of the 60 NSF Industry - University Cooperative Research Programs.
CHOT is a collaboration of university partners and industry organisations which funds applied research in health care management.
