Andrew's commercial career covers 32 years where he has worked in various roles within the Construction (1986-1989), Manufacturing (1989-2001) and Higher Education (2001-2018) sectors. He holds an MBA and an MA in Education, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Andrew has previously held Business Development roles at Birmingham City University and University of Worcester.

He began his academic career with Aston University in 2010, and has also taught at University of Warwick. His book Digital Marketing – An Integrated and Practical Approach will be published by Oxford University Press in 2020.
