Andrew is dedicated to understanding organisational strategy over the long-run, developing theory to provide insight into actions leading to success against the odds and also corporate failure. His research has been published in a range of leading journals including Human Relations (AJG 4, FT50), British Journal of Management (AJG 4), and 5 papers in Business History (AJG 4).
Andrew has undertaken a number of administrative roles, including Head of Group and Head of Strategy & International Business Department.
Andrew has also been engaged in the practice community, advising on both corporate turnaround and strategic management to organisations including FTSE 250 listed, private multi-national, public sector, charitable, and SMEs.
Andrew has been the recipient of multiple teaching awards and currently lectures on UG and MSc programmes.
He holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham, MA in Corporate Strategy & Governance, and BA(Hons) in Industrial Economics, also from the University of Nottingham. He has also been awarded Fellowship of the Royal Society of Arts.
