Gary Chapman is an Associate Professor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Haydn Green Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Nottingham University Business School. He is currently the Course Director for MSc Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Management.
His research interests include innovation in new and established ventures, business support and grants for innovative and new ventures, organisational diversity, and knowledge exchange and entrepreneurship within higher education and academia. He is open to receiving PhD inquiries in these areas.
His work has been published in leading management journals, including, Research Policy, British Journal of Management, Technovation, R&D Management, Industry and Innovation and Journal of Business Venturing Insights, among others. He has also engaged in consultancy based on his research.
He has extensive experience of teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate taught, postgraduate research, and executive levels, and has undertaken a number of administrative and service roles.
