Research Topic:
Models for omni-channel retailing

Research Details:
Nowadays, customers yearn for seamless shopping experiences across any possible merchandising platforms, such as mobile, social media, online website, and physical stores. Accordingly, omni-channel retailing becomes the mandate for retailers to survive and thrive in such a competitive and dynamic business environment. However, retailers are grappling with designing their supply chains to provide the right service level profitably. This research project aims at mapping out the key supply chain decisions for retailers in the transition to omni-channel retailing. Quantitative models will also be developed to solve some pivotal supply chain planning issues for omni-channel retailing.
