Conference date postponed!
Due to the ongoing uncertainty over the Coronavirus pandemic and in order to facilitate maximum participation and ensure the wellbeing of everyone involved, we have decided to move the next "on site" Global Revolution conference, Public Procurement: Global Revolution X, to 2022. This conference, originally scheduled for June 2021, will now be held on June 13-14 2022 at the East Midlands Conference Centre, University Park Campus, Nottingham, NG7 2RD.
We are also pleased to you know that we will also, however, be running a free-of-charge, virtual “Global Revolution Special” on 22 June 2021 for those who cannot wait until 2022 for their Global Revolution “fix”! This event will feature an extended plenary session in which we hope to bring you the usual line-up of speakers from the international organisations and elsewhere, giving you an in-depth update on what is happening globally and in the EU and UK in the world of procurement regulation. There will also be a special half-day session on “UK Public Procurement after Brexit”.
Please email email@example.com to register your interest to receive email updates. For over 20 years the Public Procurement Research Group of the School of Law has hosted the major international conference in this field and the 9th in the series, which took place in 2019 brought together, as always, the world's leading academics for a dialogue with national regulators and procurement practitioners, and representatives from national and international institutions such as the Cabinet Office and UK Government Departments, the European Commission, OECD, the WTO, UNCITRAL, the World Bank and other multilateral development banks. With almost 40 workshops over the two days, the event featured 130 speakers and more than 300 participants from all parts of the globe from Australia to Zimbabwe.
We fully expect to match this success for Global Revolution X and look forward to seeing you again in 2022, as well as for the virtual event in 2021!
