Shift/Rota Working

If you are expected to participate in a rota or shift pattern, this will be indicated in your letter of appointment and/or your written statement of terms and conditions.

Your Head of School/Department/Supervisor will explain to you the full details of your exact start and finish times and shift patterns. You may be entitled to enhanced rates of pay for participating in such a pattern of work in which case this will be stated in your letter of appointment and/or your written statement of terms and conditions.

The University reserves the right to require staff to cover any shifts within their normal rota/shift cycle.
