We are delighted to announce a new conference on skilled labour and professionalism in the ancient world at the University of Nottingham in June 2016.
This event will aim to study the overall phenomenon of ancient professionalism in multiple forms across a wide range of periods. It is intended to appeal to all those interested in the history of work and labour, its organisation, and impact on the ancient economy and society.
